Sr. Lim Say Khoon has more than 27 years experience in contracts management, project management, contractual disputes avoidance and contract negotiation. His project and commercial management experiences covers oil and gas, building construction, infrastructure, semi-conductor and telecommunication industry.
Say Khoon possess a multidisciplinary, wide range of working experiences with Oil and Gas Operator, EPCM, EPC contractors, contractual claims consultants, professional quantity surveyor practice and design and build contractors. In the past decade, he has been working worldwide on buildings, oil and gas projects, including UK, Dubai, Thailand and Singapore. Successfully turning around a multipurpose building project in Cambodia is his recent project management accomplishment.
In his 27 years of career, Say Khoon was tasked to set up the contracts department; driving pre-award and post award contracts and procurement activities; revamped failing project; involved in Extension of Time, Loss and Expense claims assessment; prepared contracts consultant expert reports; gave advice in contractual disputes avoidance; provided business strategy and business process re-engineering advice.
With the diversification of job experiences and established academic background, Say Khoon has the edge to cover contractual issues, project management and business consultancy advisory works.
As a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, Say Khoon holds dual qualifications in Quantity Surveying and Law. He is also a double master degree holder, namely MBA from the Manchester Business School, UK and MSc. in Project Management from University of Barcelona, Spain.
Say Khoon is a Certified Adjudicator under Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC) and Project Management Professional (PMP).
He possesses superior communication skills both written and verbal in English, Mandarin, Malay, Hockien and Cantonese.
