Chris has in excess of 50 years total experience working in the UK, Middle East and South East Asia primarily in commercial management on a wide variety of construction projects (major and minor) including office and residential buildings, airports (commercial and military), railways (both above and below ground), road and bridge works, sewerage and water treatment, water distribution, chemical works and oil industry projects.
Chris has worked with EPC contractors, main contractors, sub-contractors, specialist sub-contractors, contract claims consultants, and professional quantity surveyors. He tends to be detail oriented with a good ability to analyse and understand problems and present potential solutions.
He specializes in the preparation of tender documents, site-based commercial control of projects, preparation of extension of time and additional cost claims for main contractors and sub-contractors, as well as the review and assessment of extension of time and additional cost claims from other parties. He has also assisted others in the preparation of Expert Witness Reports for Arbitration.
Chris is a Member of the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors and its earlier incarnations since 1979. He has also been an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators since 2009 and a Founder Member of Quantity Surveyors International (2004).
